MESSAGE
Media
is the
mirror of society and has immense power to influence the people. Media
is the part of the life, all around, from the shows one watches on
television, music on the radio, the books, magazines and newspapers. It
is often considered as the 4th pillar
and has
the power to pressurize and criticize the drawbacks of democracy. It is
instrumental in bringing about unity among the masses and is the
backbone of nation. The reach of media to common people has further
increased with the IT and communication revolution and undoubtedly it
has attained the role of a very powerful organ in virtually all spheres
of life. The Indian media needs well trained manpower to focus on its
role in the society in a decisive way.
Youths are the
future and important resource in the development of a nation. Being part
of trained media professionals resource pool they can significantly
contribute for the development of society at large. The profession of
media is both challenging and demanding. It needs a lot of dedication
with professional skills. For developing confidence and skills in the
youths to take up the challenges in the media profession, Parikarma
School of Media Studies has taken initiative to impart them required
skills with the introduction of various courses. With a well organized
team of media professionals and academics, Parikarma School of Media
Studies, intend to provide its students with best teaching and
training in the media field.
I am hopeful
that this institution will serve for the better future of youths as well
as the nation.
With best
wishes
