OUR MISSION

Parikarma School of Media Studies shall strive hard to provide a market oriented professional education to the student community of the India, with a view to all serving the cause of higher education as well as to meet the needs of the Indian industries. Institute will try to excel in the field of today’s two most demanding discipline i.e. Mass Communication and Journalism and Information Technology. And the USP of this institute shall be its stress on the polishing of soft skill of the student along with sturdy field training. A research says that AIR reaches nearly about the 99 percent of the Indian population. The government has given 338 licenses of FM radio channels in 91 big and small towns/cities. There are more than 800 news channels are launching in coming years, which includes national as well as regional channels.TRAI has recommended a digitization plan for the top 35 cities by 2010. These 35 cities have around 20 million homes with a cable connection. Even if 10% of these C&S home voluntary opt for set-top boxes, there will be a demand for two million STBs in the near future. Assuming a price of Rs 2,500 per STB, the potential of this market is estimated to least Rs 500 Cr. (Rs 5 billion). India has the world’s largest movie industry, which churns out around 1,000movies a year. It stands at an estimated Rs 6800 Cr. (Rs 68billion) and is expected to grow around 20% annually. It is projected to reach Rs 15,300 Cr. (Rs 153 billion) by 2010. Domestic box office revenues accounted for 78% of the total industry
revenue. Above research proves that this media profession is growing day by day vigerously. A professon which tends to in industry is the media, here is the number of job opportunities are available. Our students have participated in various TV programs like Big fight and Muqabala on NDTV and other channels audience oriented programs. The students have also taken part in events organi zed by Par i karma Multimedia Pvt. Ltd. (an associate company).
